How to Reset a Forgotten Username on Allina Mychart Account
If you have forgotten your username for Allina MyChart, you can follow these steps to retrieve it:
Step 1: Visit the Allina MyChart Login Page: Open your web browser and go to the Allina MyChart login page. (https://mychart.allinahealth.org).
Step 2: Find the “Forgot Username” Link: On the login page, look for the link that says “Forgot Username?” and click on it. However, if you do not remember your password, you may need to use the “Forgot password?” link first.
Step 3: Enter Required Information: You will be prompted to enter some personal information to verify your identity. Typically, this includes:
- First and Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Email Address or Phone Number
Step 4: Submit the Request: After entering the required information, click on the “Submit” button.
Step 5: Check Your Email: If the information you provided matches the information on file, you will receive an email containing your username. Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder if necessary) for an email from Allina MyChart.

Allina MyChart Login
If you already have a MyChart account with Allina Health, you will need to complete a one-time upgrade to an Allina Health account to continue accessing your health record online.
After the one-time upgrade to an Allina Health account, you can access your health record and that of anyone you have proxy access to, by signing in on allinahealth.org or the Allina Health account mobile app.
- Go to the Allina MyChart Login page.
- Enter your MyChart username and password in the spaces provided and click Sign In.
For First-time users: Click the “Create an account” button above the User Login form. A signup screen will display. You can either register using the email address that you provided to the office or you can register by creating a username and entering a security code provided to you from the office.
