How to Reset a Forgotten Password on Allina Health Account
If you forget your Allina MyChart account password, you can reset it by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the Allina MyChart Login Page: Go to the official Allina MyChart login page (https://mychart.allinahealth.org).
Step 2: Click “Forgot Password?”: On the login page, click the “Forgot password?” link, usually located below the password field.
Step 3: Enter Username: You will be prompted to enter your MyChart username. If you do not remember your username, you may need to use the “Forgot username?” link first.
Step 4: Verify Identity: After entering your username, you must verify your identity. This may involve answering security questions, providing your date of birth, and confirming other personal information.
Step 5: Receive Verification Code: Allina MyChart will send a verification code to your registered email address or mobile phone number. Check your email or text messages for this code.

If you already have a MyChart account with Allina Health, you will need to complete a one-time upgrade to an Allina Health account to continue accessing your health record online.
After the one-time upgrade to an Allina Health account, you can access your health record and that of anyone you have proxy access to, by signing in on allinahealth.org or the Allina Health account mobile app.
- Go to the Allina MyChart Login page.
- Enter your MyChart username and password in the spaces provided and click Sign In.
For First-time users: Click the “Create an account” button above the User Login form. A signup screen will display. You can either register using the email address that you provided to the office or you can register by creating a username and entering a security code provided to you from the office.
