Allina MyChart is the online tool that gives you access to select information in your health record, such as viewing test results, scheduling appointments, and sending emails to your care team. The Allina Health account combines MyChart records with other features and functions, making it easier to manage your care quickly and easily.

Allina MyChart Overview
Allina MyChart offers patients personalized and secure online access to portions of their medical records. It enables you to securely use the Internet to help manage and receive information about your health. With MyChart, you can use the Internet to:
- Request medical appointments.
- View your health summary from the MyChart electronic health record.
- View test results.
- Make your Allina Health Bill Payments.
- Request prescription renewals.
- Access trusted health information resources.

Allina MyChart Login
If you already have a MyChart account with Allina Health, you must complete a one-time upgrade to an Allina Health account to continue accessing your health record online.
After the one-time upgrade to an Allina Health account, you can access your health record and that of anyone you have proxy access to, by signing in on allinahealth.org or the Allina Health account mobile app.
- Go to the Allina MyChart Login page.
- Enter your MyChart username and password in the spaces provided and click Sign In.
For First-time users: Click the “Create an account” button above the User Login form. A signup screen will display. You can either register using the email address that you provided to the office or you can register by creating a username and entering a security code provided to you from the office.
Forgot Username/Password?
If you’re having trouble logging in, click the “Forgot Username?” or “Forgot Password?” link below the login fields for assistance. You will go through two-step verification to verify your identity so you can recover your username or password.

- How do I sign up?
You can set up an Allina MyChart account by going to the login portal and clicking Sign Up Now, or you can activate your account during an in-person visit with your care team. If you choose to sign up online, you’ll be asked to provide your email address, set a strong password, and enter your phone number and address to verify your identity.
To keep your health information secure, you will also be asked to set up 2-step verification (also known as 2FA) during registration.
In some instances, you may be provided with an activation code from your care team that allows you to skip the identity verification steps and only requires you to enter an email address and password in order to create your account.

Your account password protects your account and we urge you to take steps to keep your personal information safe by not disclosing your password and by logging out of your account after each use.
Allina Health further protects your information from potential security breaches by implementing certain technological security measures including encryption, firewalls, and secure socket layer technology. However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by a breach of such firewalls and secure server software.
